Nigeria's former minister of state for foreign affairs, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has debunked rumours that he is no longer a member of the PDP.

Obanikoro disclosed this via his verified Twitter handle @MObanikoro today, Tuesday, June 20.

The rumours of Obanikoro's exit from the PDP were sparked by his attendance of the town hall meeting organised by the All Progressives Congress (APC) senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, Remi Tinubu.

“My attendance has been insinuated wrongly in the media but all such speculations remain firmly in the realm of rumours and imaginations.

“Whatever the future holds politically for us, it will be openly done by us and seen by all but right now, please disregard those rumours,” Obanikoro tweeted.

"""I commend Sen. Remi Tinubu once again as I continue to consult with my political associates and friends in Lagos, and also across Nigeria.""

Few weeks ago, Obanikoro revealed that the reason why he fell apart with former the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was because he could not balance personal relationships with political disagreements.

In the interview below with NAIJ.com TV, APC chieftain, Comrade Timi Frank warns the ruling party to resolve its internal bickering before 2019.
